summary:The lecture will focus on the applications of biomimetical principles for the synthesis of nanostructures and nanopatterns and the molecular structure of biomaterials. The main topics are:

  • Interaction of biomolecules and solid state surfaces
  • Biotemplating: nanomaterial synthesis based on proteins and DNA
