Panel Discussion "Bürger treffen Experten"

Within the Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften, Prof. Cuniberti participated in a panel discussion on the applications and risks of nanotechnology

Nanotechnology is a key technology of the 21st century. It offers solutions for future applications in health, energy and environment, only to mention a few. Sustainable approaches offer new perspectives for education, research and economy in Germany. To increase the information of the public about the chances and risks of nanotechnology, the Federal Ministry for Science and Education (BMBF) regularly organizes events linke panel discussions.

One of these took place in the framework of the "Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften" at TU Dresden in July 2013. Prof. Cuniberti joined this discussion and presented the foundations and applications of our research and discussed the chances and risks of nanotechnology with other experts and the audience of the discussion.
