DNA-based nanotechnology: Construction, mechanics, and electronics (dnatec)
| This meeting aims at summarizing progress and enhancing exchange of ideas and understanding in the cross-disciplinary field of DNA-based nanotechnology. This meeting aims at summarizing progress and enhancing exchange of ideas and understanding in the cross-disciplinary field of DNA-based nanotechnology by bringing under the same roof experts from different fields of physics, biophysics, chemistry, biology, and materials science. Future research directions in this young field will profit from combined theoretical and experimental efforts towards nano-scale construction of complex DNA-based architectures and functional devices. The Dresden meeting will cover these systems and various aspects including structural DNA nanotechnology, DNA-based machinery, DNA mechanics and electronics.
