Vibrational effects in the conductance through a molecular bridge

We study the conductance of a single central resonant site sandwiched between two electrodes and taking into account a coupling to an optical phonon mode. The starting point is a tight-binding Hamiltonian which is linearly coupled to the bosonic degrees of freedom. The conductance is calculated within the nonequilibrium Keldysh formalism in the self-consistent Born approximation.
