Success story of Organic Electronics in Saxony

Organic Electronics is the future of flexible, lightweight and transparent electronics. In the past decade Saxony became Europe's leading network for Organic Electronics due to the immense success in research and development. New devices and process technologies can be already found in some products but the change has just started. The presentation will give a summary of the success story of Saxony's research institutes and companies and shows where the future of Organic Electronics might be.

Brief Bio:

Dr. Dominik Gronarz has been business manager of the network Organic Electronics Saxony since its foundation in 2009. Before this, he was working at the IAPP (Institut f\FCr Angewandte Photophysik, TU Dresden, head: Prof. Karl Leo) coordinating national and European research projects. Between 2000 and 2004 he has been working as a founding and innovation coach with Dresden exist, the founding initiative of TU Dresden, where he supported spin-off companies from the university and its environment in Dresden. During his PhD, Dr. Gronarz has been working on the field of macromolecular chemistry and textile chemistry at TU Dresden.
