Brief Bio:Daria studied Biomedical Electronics at the "National Technical University of Ukraine Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" (Ukraine) from 2004 to 2010. She has obtained there her Master of Science degree (with Honors) in Electronics with an emphasis on biomedical devices and systems for diagnostics and rehabilitation. Her Master's thesis title is "Application of nanosensors in oncology" with Dr. Anton Popov. Now she is PhD student at the College of Electronics of the same Institute. Her research topic is "Simulation of FET-based biosensors with low-dimension structures". In Dresden, Daria will work on the investigation of the simulation approaches of bionanosensors based on field-effect transistors with low-dimension structures. |
