Brief Bio:

Joana Ribeiro studied in Physics at the University of Minho (Portugal), graduating in 2014. She did her research project in Physics with Prof.Dr. Senentxu Lanceros-Mendez on the subject "Oriented and non-Oriented Nano fibres of Polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF) for Tissue Engineering". In October 2014 she joined the Master Degree in Physics at University of Minho. She is currently conducting her Master's thesis based on "Photocatalytic degradation of micropollutants with TiO2/PVDF-TrFE membranes" at Technische Universität Dresden.
She is looking forward to have new experiences in a different country and culture, meeting new people, learning from them and to continue my work in a whole new environment.
