Jörg Meyer studied Physics at the TU Dresden (Germany) from 2002 to 2009. He got his Diploma on Influence of stress fiber spacing and matrix reorganization on adherent cells with Dr. Tilo Pompe. During that he gathered practical experience in micro contact printing, cell culture experiments and laser scanning microscopy. After his Diploma Jörg worked for half a year at the Fraunhofer Institute of Electron Beam and Plasma Technology as assistant.
In March 2010 he joined the group of Prof. Gianaurelio Cuniberti as PhD student. His PhD thesis will be about Structure-property-relations of molecular materials on the nanometer scale.
