Brief Bio:

Juliane studied chemistry at the TU Dresden with focus on analytical chemistry. She got her Diploma for research on derivatization methods in HPLC/MS detection at the institute for doping analytics in Kreischa (IDAS). After a brief internship at the doping institute in Barcelona she joined the Nanosfun group at ICN/CIN2 (Dr. D. Ruiz) in Barcelona for a PhD on motion at the microscale, working closely together with the Dr. A. Baeza and Prof. M. Vallet from the Complutense University in Madrid.
After defending her thesis she started a Postdoc the group of Dr. Samuel Sánchez in September 2014 at the MPI for Intelligent Systems in Stuttgart to work on microswimmers in confined spaces. She joined the chair of Prof. Cuniberti in May 2016.
