Brief Bio:

Torsten studied Physics at the University of Regensburg from 2005 to 2011. He made his Diploma thesis on "Spin Injection into GaAs" at the chair of Prof. Dieter Weiss. In October 2011 he started a PhD thesis at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf in the group of Dr. Artur Erbe. He plans to work in close collaboration with our chair on electrical characterization of single organic molecules in liquid environment via mechanically controllable break junctions.
