Brief Bio:

David Bodesheim studied Chemistry and received his Master¿s degree in 2019 from the Technical University of Munich (TUM). During his Master¿s course, he studied abroad at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) for one semester. David conducted his Master¿s Thesis mainly at ISIS Neutron and Muon source (UK) under supervision of Dr. Gregor Kieslich (TUM) and Dr. Keith Butler (ISIS), including a stay as visiting student at Prof. Aron Walsh¿s group at Imperial College (UK). His previous research primarily focused on lattice dynamics and metal-organic frameworks. In 2020 he joined Prof. Gianaurelio Cuniberti¿s chair and is now interested in understanding the assembly and rational design of two-dimensional framework materials using Monte Carlo simulations and first-principles methods.
