Brief Bio:

David Bodesheim studied Chemistry and received his Master┐s degree in 2019 from the Technical University of Munich (TUM). During his Master┐s course, he studied abroad at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) for one semester. David conducted his Master┐s Thesis mainly at ISIS Neutron and Muon source (UK) under supervision of Dr. Gregor Kieslich (TUM) and Dr. Keith Butler (ISIS), including a stay as visiting student at Prof. Aron Walsh┐s group at Imperial College (UK). His previous research primarily focused on lattice dynamics and metal-organic frameworks. In 2020 he joined Prof. Gianaurelio Cuniberti┐s chair and is now interested in understanding the assembly and rational design of two-dimensional framework materials using Monte Carlo simulations and first-principles methods.
