Cover
Start: 25 Jul 2009 | End: 26 Jul 2009
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Organized by: S. Tarucha, A. Morpurgo, S. Russo, M. F. Craciun, M. Koshino, M. Yamamoto

The focus of this work-shop is the rapidly evolving field of the graphene science. Graphene Tokyo 2009 aims at gathering leading scientists in the field reporting on the latest advances in the understanding of physical properties and emerging applications of graphene. Invited reviews will cover a broad range of theoretical and experimental characterization methods contributing to define the portfolio of research topics that urgently require to be investigated. We certainly expect that the series of exciting talks delivered by these top experts will provide an ideal forum to create excitement in the students and junior scientists that will participate. To this end, we will maintain as much as possible an informal atmosphere during the conference, which will stimulate scientific discussions between all participants. The conference program will incorporate invited reviews, a poster session and time reserved for informal discussions.
