former Visiting PhD student
Stay period: | Aug. 26, 2024 - Oct. 31, 2024 |
Group: | nanoelectronics for biosensor technologies |
Anastasiia Gorelova is an FPU predoctoral fellow in the Department of Computer Languages and Systems at the University of Alicante. She graduated cum laude from N.E. Bauman Moscow State Technical University of Biotechnical Systems and Technologies, where she started her scientific activity. The main focus of her research was the development of a new method of treatment of pre-reactive limb frostbite with the application of high-frequency electromagnetic field. As a result of her research, she obtained 3 patents related to the method of treating frostbite and the construction of the medical installation. In 2019 she obtained her first master's degree in Biomedicine at the University of Alicante, where she investigated the influence of high-frequency electromagnetic field on biological objects in the developed and patented installation. She obtained her second master's degree in 2022 in Web Applications and Services Development. Her PhD project focuses on telemedicine, developing an intelligent health monitoring system equipped with biosensors to treat and manage various diseases such as infertility, Alzheimer's, cancer, respiratory and cardiovascular diseases.
