Denis finished the Lyceum "Physical-Technical High School" in St. Petersburg in 2007. In 2011 he received his B. Sc. degree in Technical Physics at the Faculty of Physical Science and Technology of Saint-Petersburg State Polytechnical University. The topic of his bachelor thesis was "Raman scattering in nanoporous carbon materials". Now he is doing his Master in Nanobiophysics at TU Dresden. Since 2012 he is performing Raman measurements in the group of Jörg Opitz.
