Former Research assistant
| Stay period: | March 10, 2025 - Dec. 31, 2025 |
| Group: | nanoelectronics for biosensor technologies |
Dimas Carballo earned a bachelor's degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain, in 2023. He pursued a master's degree in Molecular Bioengineering at TU Dresden (CRTD, BCUBE, and Biotec) and has been working at the Chair of Materials Science and Nanotechnology (nanoelectronics for biosensor technologies) since October 2024. In March 2025, he started to work on his master's thesis, which focuses on the development of electrochemical detection of salivary parameters using ion-selective electrodes (ISE). Currently, Dimas is working as research assistant at the Chair in order to support the production of sensors (UV lithography).
