Franz Uhlig obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena in 2023. His bachelor's thesis focused on the positioning of microparticles using acoustophoresis in flow-through microfluidic channels. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Molecular Bioengineering at TU Dresden and is expected to graduate in 2026. His academic interests lie in microfluidics and approaches to analysing biological systems.
