Juliane studied chemistry at the TU Dresden with focus on analytical chemistry. She got her Diploma for research on derivatization methods in HPLC/MS detection at the institute for doping analytics in Kreischa (IDAS). After a brief internship at the doping institute in Barcelona she joined the Nanosfun group at ICN/CIN2 (Dr. D. Ruiz) in Barcelona for a PhD on motion at the microscale, working closely together with the Dr. A. Baeza and Prof. M. Vallet from the Complutense University in Madrid.
After defending her thesis she started a Postdoc the group of Dr. Samuel S�nchez in September 2014 at the MPI for Intelligent Systems in Stuttgart to work on microswimmers in confined spaces. She joined the chair of Prof. Cuniberti in May 2016.
