Lily Zeng is currently completing a bachelor's degree in Material science and engineering at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology KIT. She joined TU Dresden to undertake an internship with the projects of digital olfaction and scientific illustration.
During this internship, she is working on graphical design of scientific papers and the development of a closed-loop olfaction system that integrates electronic sensing and scent generation. The project focuses on encoding odour data, applying machine learning techniques to map sensor signals to scent output, and enabling the transmission and reconstruction of olfactory information.
