Poetschke

Dipl.-Ing.
Markus Poetschke

former PhD student

Markus studied Materials Science and Mechatronik at the Dresden University of Technology (Germany) from 2003 to 2009 and 2010, respectively. He got his first Diploma on the Modelling electromechanical properties of carbon nanostructures with Prof. G. Cuniberti. During this time he studied the transport phenomena in graphene sheets and carbon nanotubes under the influence of stress and defects as well as shell-gliding in multiwall CNTs. His second thesis 3D-measurement of objects using optical flow, supervised by Prof. K. Janschek, was devoted to the quasi real-time 3D-measurement of object shape employing heterogenious computer systems.
In March 2010, he rejoined the chair to work on his PhD subject Multiscale simulations of the growth behaviour of hybrid nano-structures within the international graduate school of the ECEMP project.
