Mehrdad obtained the master degree in Material Science and Engineering in Iran in the field of magnetic nanoparticles and their applications in 2011. He joined as a PhD student to the nano sensors and systems group (Nanolab) at division of IT Convergence and Engineering (ITCE) at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in South Korea. Currently, He is working on difference synthesis techniques and diverse applications of nanostructures including semiconductor nanowires and graphene especially on optoelectronic and biomedical application of these materials.
