Wu, born in June 1984, received his B.Sc. in Physics at Zhengzhou University (China) in 2006. Since September 2006, he is a graduate student at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. There he worked theoretically at the Berry phase of molecular magnets under the supervision of Prof. Biao Wu. Wu joined the Cuniberti group as a PhD student within the MPIPKS International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS "Dynamical Processes in Atoms, Molecules and Solids"). In Dresden, Wu will work at theoretical aspects of carbon based molecular electronics.
