Xinyang Zhang graduated from Wuhan University of Science and Technology (WUST) with a degree in Mechanics in 2019 and started her Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Production Technology Track) at TUD Dresden University of Technology in 2022. In 2025, she joined the Chair of Materials Science and Nanotechnology for her research project. Her research topics are focused on investigation of adsorbate-surface interaction for chemiresistive gas sensors using density functional theory and developing the machine-learning models to optimize sensor performance.
