The MBS08 aims at bringing together experts from different fields who share common interests in the application of recent achievements ofmolecular biology in material science and engineering, in bioprocess engineering and environmental technology, for medical implants and tissue engineering, for biosensors and molecule electronics. The topics will include both basic and applied aspects of molecular design of biological coatings, immobilization of living microorganisms, biologically functionalized interfaces for medical applications, polymer interfaces for tissue engineering, functional films for biosensors and single molecule sensors.
