We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Michael Adachi, Associate Professor at Simon Fraser University, has been awarded a Humboldt Research Fellowship for Experienced Researchers by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
As part of the fellowship, Prof. Adachi will join Forschungszentrum Jülich and our chair from March 2026 within a collaboration between Professor Gianaurelio Cuniberti and Dr. Dirk Mayer (Forschungszentrum Jülich). His work lies at the intersection of semiconductor electronics, sensor technology, and biomedical engineering, with a focus on diagnostic sensing approaches for infectious diseases and blood-based biomarkers.
