Dresden has an extraordinarily high level of research going on, as the number of scientists and research institutions suggests. The Elbe metropolis ranks fifth in Germany behind Berlin, Munich, Hamburg and Cologne. Leading scientists from many different countries are engaged in research at TU Dresden, helping to make the world a better place.
