Steffen Kampmann completed his studies in materials science at the Dresden University of Technology in April 2019. During his studies, he worked as a student assistant at the Institute of Materials Science (IfWW) and the Institute for Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) at TU Dresden. He completed his internship in the research department of Daimler AG at research centre in Ulm. Furthermore, he wrote his diploma thesis on micromechanical fatigue simulations at the research centre of Robert Bosch GmbH in Renningen. In November 2019, he moved to the chair of Prof. G. Cuniberti and has since been working on multi-scale simulation methods of polymers in the group of Dr. Croy and Dr. Gutierrez.
