Matthias studied Physics at the TU Dresden from 2002 to 2009 and wrote his diploma thesis on regularization scheme dependence of two-loop scattering amplitudes in perturbative quantum chromodynamics in the group of Prof. Dominik Stckinger. After further investigating this topic as a research associate to Prof. Stöckinger he studied Mathematics from 2011 to 2014 and got his bachelor on canonical Lie group actions and Noether's theorem in a differential geometric formulation of Hamiltonian mechanics. Since October 2015 Matthias is a phd student at our chair in cooperation with Prof. Siegmund and the Dresden Center for Dynamics as part of the CoSiMa project on chirality induced spin selectivity in organic materials.
